This card is for the Clean and Simple Challenge #16, a make-over challenge. Thanks, Jen, for another wonderful challenge! This is my last week on the DT, and it's been so much fun working with such amazing and talented women as Jen, Angela, and Carolina. They ROCK!
The original card is here: Bamboo Happiness by LateBlossom at Splitcoaststampers
There are several things I wanted to do...make it fewer layers, get rid of the word symbol (which means double happiness) and turn the whole thing into a thank you card...'cause I need lots of thank you cards. I used mellow moss rather than wasabi (because it matched the sage chalk ink I wanted to use...this stamp inks better with chalk inks than SU classic ink, which gets a bit blotchy).
I still used the brown stickles, just on the dragonfly, which doesn't show up well in the photo but makes the card more interesting IRL.
The card has a soft, zen-like quality that is missing from the original card. I like it better and hope you like it, too!
